An tornado, such as this one, swept through the southern town of Guin, Alabama on April 1974 and changed the lives of Guin's residents forever.
For the first time, photos are now available of "The Mall". As one of the lost malls of Huntsville, this mall was a living time capsule.
The photos in this article, taken by Evans Criswell on January 12, 1998, show the mall in its sad last days prior to demolition.

I'd try to imagine how the mall would have been if I could have seen it in its original late 60s and 1970s glory. It was a relatively dark place.
